Pacsafe opens first flagship store in the Philippines

Considering the growing demand in safer travel in the Philippines, top travel gear brand Pacsafe has decided to open its first flagship store in the country. The brand was officially launched through United Limsun International Trading Corp., the exclusive distributor of the brand in the country. During the opening of their store in Makati, Pacsafe President Magnus McGlashan said that it was the country’s young and positive vibe and willingness to accept new brands that made them decide to bring the brand in the Philippines.

The first boutique in the Philippines is located at G/F Glorietta 5 in Makati City. All of the company’s products are available in the store (adventure backpacks, urban and leisure bags, women’s bags, photography bags, luggage and travel accessories such as straps, cables and locks). According to United Limsun International Trading Corp., the expansion of Pacsafe in the country is expected to happen in the next three years. Also, they are looking
at the possibility of making the Philippines as one of the manufactures of the brand.

Meanwhile, during the launch of their retail store in the country, Pacsafe has extended the company’s advocacy on the conservation of marine life by making a donation to the Pawikan Conservation Center in Bataan. The monetary donation was accepted by the chairs of Bataan Tourism Council, Vicky Garcia and Isabel Garcia.

Pacsafe is one of the pioneers of travel security category since 1998.  It has been famous globally for its commitment to creating bags with explicit security features with emphasis on anti-theft features. The company produces a half million of bags every year that is sold in numerous countries including United States, Australia and other counties in the Asia-Pacific Region.
